Thomas Arkell is a behavioural pharmacologist with the Lambert Initiative for Cannabinoid Therapeutics at The University of Sydney. His research focuses on the effects of drugs on the brain and behavior, with a particular focus on cannabis.
Thomas has a strong interest in medical cannabis and current issues around road safety and roadside drug testing, and he recently completed his doctoral thesis on the effects of cannabis on driving performance and cognitive function.
