Lanai Carter came across medical cannabis while she was on a trip in the United States seeking treatment for her teenage son, Lindsay. An American doctor suggested trying cannabis and that is where it all began. Lindsay responded to his cannabis treatment very positively, however, the life-saving medication that worked was not available in Australia. Sourcing Lindsay's medication on a consistent basis has been a major challenge for the Carter family ever since.
